    Jill Snape

    Practice Manager

    Jill joined the practice as a nursing assistant and receptionist in 2008 after a career change, and took over as the practice manager in 2011. She has always loved working with animals. She loves music – especially rock – and when at home loves to spend her time cooking.

    Susan Rooney

    Receptionist

    Susan moved to Warwickshire from the Isle of Bute in 2002, and joined the Shipston team not long after. She loves the job, although can’t resist giving a home to any waifs and strays, meaning she currently has three cats, six ferrets and eight dogs! In her spare time she enjoys running and raising money for charity.

    Natalie Hampson

    Receptionist

    Natalie joined us in 2017, and has since completed qualifications in veterinary receptionist work and feline behaviour and psychology. She enjoys assisting vets with cases and getting stuck into admin. She has two cats, Oscar and Nellie, and Ketchup the Jack Russell. Outside work she spends time crocheting, walking and spending time with family.

    Liz Tennent

    Receptionist

    Liz joined the Shipston team in 2012, the same year that she moved to Warwickshire. Lizzie spends most of her time handling our patient insurance claims and managing stock control. Outside of work she loves to spend time walking her dog, Ebony, who she also does agility training with.

    Amanda Harvard

    Receptionist

    Veterinary Receptionist and Nursing Assistant. Has been with Shipston Veterinary Centre for over 10 years. Is often accompanied to work by her lovely staffie Millie.

    Abi Hancox

    Receptionist

    Abi joined the Shipston team in 2010 and enjoys all aspects of her job – although cuddling patients is her favourite! She has two dogs at home, Ted the Lakeland terrier who came to the practice as a stray, and Agatha the Staffie. They share her heart with a Harley Davidson motorbike, which she thinks of as her baby.

    Jules Tutt

    Receptionist

    Jules joined us in 2019, but feels like she has been with Shipston for much longer due to the warm welcome she has received. At home she has a pair of brothers in Bosley the springer spaniel and Soccer the sprocker, as well as four cats and two rabbits. She enjoys looking after her veg patch, reading and socialising with friends and family.

    Shauni Guice

    Receptionist

    Shauni joined the practice part time back in 2019. She enjoys assisting the vets and having lots of cuddles with patients.
    At home she has two dogs Lola (the very naughty) beagle and Foxy a rescue Pomeranian, along with her bunny Ruby , two chickens and a musk turtle.

    Louise Grimes

    Receptionist

    Louise has been part of the Shipston team since 2013, and enjoys theatre and consult work as well as interacting with clients as part of the reception team. She has two cats, Cookie and Fudge, and added a baby boy to the family in 2019. Her hobby is horse riding, although she hasn’t had much chance to practice since she became a mother!

    Lucy Hyde

    Head Veterinary Nurse and Clinical Coach

    RVN, BSc (Hons), DipVNZS APVN (Zoo)

    Lucy joined us in 2020, bringing six years of experience and a diploma in nursing exotic and zoo animals. She has taken responsibility for our nursing clinics, and enjoys all aspects of the job, although she has a special interest in anaesthesia. She has a chocolate Labrador called Chester and enjoys walking with him, as well as baking.

    Anna Balchin

    Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse

    RVN

    Anna joined the team in 1998, and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2002. She particularly enjoys surgical nursing, assisting in theatre and post operative care. She is married with three young children and enjoys walking, keeping fit, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.

    Jasmine Hill

    Veterinary Nurse

    RVN, FdSc ISFM Cat Advocate

    Jasmine joined the Shipston team in September 2020, after graduating from Harper Adams University. She particularly enjoys consulting and communicating with clients to ensure that they have all the information necessary to care for their companions. Jasmine is our ISFM Cat Advocate nurse and works to promote our cat friendly clinic work.
    She has two dogs, Jasper and Tia Maria, and in her spare time enjoys horse riding, video games and arts and crafts.

    Chloe Young

    Veterinary Nurse

    RVN

    Chloe joined us in July 2021 and enjoys surgery and anaesthesia as well as consulting and meeting the clients. She has a rescue cat called Percy and in her spare time enjoys fitness, baking and video games.

    Veterinary Nurse

    RVN

    Beth joined our team in November 2022. She graduated through Moreton Morrell, part of Coventry university with a BSc hons. Beth has a cockapoo, Tink, a pomsky, Thor, and rabbit, Flora. Beth's nursing interests include helping in theatre with surgical cases, patient care and all things rabbits. Outside of work interests include dog walking, reading and fitness.

    Dr Victoria Organ

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVetMed., M.R.C.V.S. ISFM Cat Advocate

    Victoria joined the team in 2007, and has been practicing as a vet since 1994. As a mother of three she works part-time and loves being in practice, in surgery and discussing cases with colleagues. Victoria is our ISFM Cat Advocate vet, this means she runs our cat friendly consult clinics and works to promote our cat friendly clinic work. She runs a farm with her husband, two working collies and two non-working cats. She also enjoys crafts and growing veg in the garden.

    Mrs Emily Emerson

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVSc , M.R.C.V.S.

    Emily started with us in 2017 – 20 years after she first qualified from Liverpool University. Her favourite part of the job is getting to know clients and patients, and playing a role in her community. She has a busy family including two boys, two dogs, four cats, tortoises, chickens and a rabbit, who also thinks he is a chicken!

    Dr Becky Westmore

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVM BVS, M.R.C.V.S.

    Becky joined the team in September 2021, having previously worked in a local practice. She graduated in 2017 from the University of Bristol and has a particular interest in surgery and ultrasonography. Becky enjoys performing heart and abdominal scans and is excited to be able to offer her skills to our patients at Shipston. Working part-time Becky has two young kids which keep her busy outside of work. She loves spending time with family outdoors and walking their Labrador, Tangle. Becky also loves painting and sewing to unwind in the evenings.
