Please ring in advance for repeat prescriptions.
Is is helpful if you can give us 24 hours notice as all prescriptions need to be checked with a veterinary surgeon and we do not want to keep you waiting! Repeat prescriptions can be collected (once ordered in advance) at any time from the Shipston surgery, but at arranged times only at the Moreton Surgery.
In the interests of your pet's health and in accordance with current legislation, your pet will need to be re-examined periodically. We charge a consultation fee for this. The reception staff will alert you as to the necessity and timing of these checks. The frequency of these essential checks will vary with the patient's condition and current status, age, nature of the prescription and concurrent disease.
In many cases, it will be necessary to carry out diagnostic tests to make sure that the medication is appropriately dosed and not causing any hidden problems.
Tablets and capsules will normally be dispensed in childproof containers. Please ask if you cannot manage these, as plain containers can be supplied on request.

News August 2018
Martin decided in 2017 that he wanted to reduce to working a two day week as a prelude to leaving SVC after more than three decades. As of August 2018 he has now left the practice to pursue his other interests of music-making, canoeing and music festival attendance! We wish him very well for the future.
We are delighted to welcome Alex to SVC. Alex qualified in 2017 and has been working in Devon.
Please don't panic about this! Social media has gone a bit wild about it. If you have genuine concerns and would like reassurance, do contact the surgery!
